A Lasting Partnership: Islamic Relief UK & Crookston Community Group

Crookston Community Group (CCG) is proud to have a long-standing partnership with Islamic Relief UK, a partnership built on a shared commitment to supporting individuals and families facing hardship across our local community.

Over the years, the support of Islamic Relief UK has enabled CCG to reach people who need help most through a range of important community initiatives, including food drives, Qurbani meat distributions and support for children and families during the school holidays.

Through programmes like the summer and winter food drives, families experiencing financial difficulty have received essential food items and, once a year, fresh Qurbani meat, while children have benefited from vouchers and activities that provide positive experiences and opportunities during the holidays.

For CCG, this partnership is about more than providing immediate assistance. It is about ensuring that people feel supported, valued and connected to their community, particularly at times when household pressures can be greatest.

We are incredibly grateful to Islamic Relief UK for its continued trust and support. Their contribution has helped us extend our reach and provide meaningful assistance to local families and individuals who may otherwise struggle to meet their everyday needs.
